Beach House Gallery

With the sound of Ella Fitzgerald in the background, captivating shades of turquoise, blue splashed on canvases, and a simplistic ambiance only a house built in 1911 can bring; you canʼt help but smile upon entering The Beach House Gallery.

FLocal Locals, Andi Nicole and Brandy Schaeffer, had the opportunity to chat with Amy Pfaelzer, owner of Beach House Gallery, about her vision and inspiration for the Gallery during their second anniversary open house last Friday.

Pfaelzerʼs love and appreciation for art comes from an authentic place. Growing up, she remembers her family’s’ presentation of art in their home, “There would be pieces hanging on the walls that dated back to when the house was first built,” a tradition she has kept alive in the century old home on Skinner Boulevard. Every week you can walk in to find a new mix of painters, potters and woodworkers. We were lucky enough to meet some of these talented artists at the event; and get a few unique, locally made holiday gift ideas in the process!
