Aargh you ready for the invasion?

Whether you’re a native Tampanian celebrating the historic myth of plundering pirates or a visitor trying to figure out why we FLocals make a big to-do of it all, if you want to fully experience this annual celebration you’ll need to play the part and don your best pirate inspired fashions.

Some of us dip our toes in the proverbial bay and rock a skull tee or black and white striped leggings while others, usually from their perch on a parade float, are covered head-to-toe in all of the trappings that a 18th-century pirate or wench would have worn (think Captain Jack). The variety of Gasparilla related festivities range from parades, to parties, to balls… so what is your Gasparilla style?
